Go pro with a Favicon
Look in the left hand corner of the address bar on your browser. If you're using a modern browser, you will see the Web Nation logo - a blue jigsaw piece. That's a favicon and all the top sites have them. The favicon is also seen next to the name of your website when your site is added to favourites or bookmarked. A very professional touch. Favicon is short for 'favorites icon', also known as a page icon or an urlicon, and is an icon associated with a particular website or webpage which is displayed in the address bar of most modern browsers. Web Nation can create such an icon, and most recent web browsers will then make use of them. Browsers that support favicons will display them in the browser's URL bar, next to the site's name in lists of bookmarks, and next to the page's title in a tabbed document interface. |
